I have only had the pleasure of meeting Martin a couple of times (BrightonSEO conferences) and he has come across as grounded yet clearly a high flyer, a party animal (drinking with us until 3 in the morning) and yet extremely serious and hardworking, a jet setter flying off to Seattle, New York, European destinations etc yet supporting less glamorous conferences such as BrightonSEO too. The very fact he spoke to and remembered from the previous BrightonSEO a newbie like me says volumes about his approach and general attitude.
