Has Panda done a good job in cleaning up the rankings

With Panda now in full swing across the english speaking search results, it has been interesting watching the fallout since. Certainly there seems an interesting mix of sites which have been affected by the update, with a number of high profile affiliate sites mixed in with more commercially relevant sites such as PC World Business.

We therefore have setup a poll to see whether or not you think that the Panda update has done a good job of ridding the SERPs of low quality content sites or whether this has been a bit of a hit and miss affair.

Results will be published at the end of next week

I do think the SERPs have been cleaned up a bit (just enough to sway a yes vote) but there does seem to be a big impact of keyword rich domains getting first page results in the SERPs now.

My initial thought is a yes vote.

However, i am a little surprised that such high profile sites have been “caught in the net”.

As to the keyword rich domains mentioned by @pinje we have not focused on this but we will certainly have look. I have noticed that the keyword rich domains have been doing very well before the “panda” update.
