Unfortunately due to discussions with both Shaun (Hoboweb) and Dave Naylor I missed the beginning of Jaamit’s session on link building, however he did fortunately put this online. I would however add, that there are a number of important takeaways from here
- Build your good links as well as your ‘noise’ links
- Guest posts can be a good way of building effective, high impact links
- Article distribution isnt that effective these days, try content distribution
- Building your links quickly doesn’t guarantee success
- Pan some link building time each month
- Build deep links – dont focus on your homepage
